Over the past 10 years in the industry I have worked on over a thousand different floors and developed a keen eye for detail. As I personally complete all work contracted to me, rather than contract to less skilled individuals, I am able to guarantee a professional, high quality service and finish.

  WHY USE DUST FREE MACHINERY? With the use of the dust free system I can now dramatically reduce the amount of airborne dust created during the sanding process! No need to cover household items and valuables. I aim to leave your home or business clean and dust free!!



QUALITY STAINS AND FINISHES Floor finishes are manufactured to be suitable for specific wood applications, for this reason it is impossible to recommend one product for all situations. Over the years I have worked with most brands available and now appreciate that various wood species respond differently to floor finishes. I also consider many other factors when choosing a suitable coating system, such as climate and household conditions. With this in mind, it is my goal to recommend the best product for your individual needs.

WATER BASED FINISHES are safe for your family and pets, extremely durable and highlight the natural grain of hardwood.
these finishes are low odor and won't fill your home will high levels of solvent fumes. For water based applications I choose Synteko's range of floor finishes.

SYNTEKO CLASSIC  Now with more solids(58%) this 2 part resin sealer is even more durable!! Manufactured to Europe's strict environmental guidelines, classic is now a premium low voc finish. This finish is famous within the industry and remains my preferred sealer for most applications.


TRADITIONAL POLYURETHANES remain a popular choice for my competitors as they are cheap and easy to use. These finishes are banned in most developed countries and are extremely high in Voc. I would highly recommend not allowing cheap contractors use these finishes in your home.

OIL BASED URETHANES are a popular choice for darker styles of hardwood and available in all gloss levels. If requested I prefer to use Synteko's oil Urethane which has a solid content of 48% which provides a durable finishing coat to new or existing hardwoods.



CUSTOM STAINING
Transform the look of your existing floor!  With the availability of many different colors now on the market, it is possible to have your old pine floor stand out as a feature of your home. I have spent years perfecting the art of staining wood floors, and love to restore an old floor with the look of a modern new hardwood floor.  





LIMEWASH
With the modern beach lifestyle on the northern beaches, lime washed floors have always been popular. The original Porters wood wash has been my choice of application since beginning my career 10 years ago. Clients love the soft milky white feel it gives to a cypress or black butt floor. 




DECKING
With Australia's harsh sun, decking has always suffered. I have experimented with all products available and have been able to confidently eliminate many brands over the years. I establish the condition and position of each deck before recommending different finishing methods. Apply a durable deck stain or leave the deck untreated, its your choice for a new look outdoor setting.
